- Sanitary Sewer System (SSS)search for term
- A municipal wastewater collection system that conveys domestic, commercial, and industrial wastewater, and limited amounts of infiltrated ground water and storm water, to a POTW. Areas served by sanitary sewer systems often have a municipal separate storm sewer system to collect and convey runoff from rainfall and snowmelt.
